Our Community Park - Halls Community Park

Halls Community Park is an extension of Halls Crossroads values and citizens. Halls Community Park is owned by the Knox County Government Parks and Recreation. Through a co-operative agreement, Halls Community Park, as a legal entity, is a non-profit corporation with a non-compensated Board of Directors. This Board is charged with the everyday management of the park, its activities and the service of its children, families, and community. The board of directors has some operational, trustee, and fiscal / financial responsibilities. The board shares in the park maintenance with Knox County. Knox County provides all park children with insurance and the assurance of a safe, clean, and well maintained place to participate in youth athletics.

Our Future

The future of the Halls Community Park is strong, bright, and on a path to grow and succeed in our mission. We are under and knee deep in an ongoing, 2 year, 1.6 million dollar construction and capital improvement project. The project will be completed in 2006.

That's right, all the dirt and noise lately are being done just for you. Our goal is to have one of the nicest parks in East Tennessee by Mid 2006. The work is nearly done and our park is transforming into one great place! Watch us grow and improve for you.
