A Capital and Endowment Campaign:

For more than ten years, Concord Soccer Association has recognized the need to have a location of its own. With the assistance of elected officials from New Castle County, State Representatives and Senators, and the Brandywine School District, the former Channin Elementary School site is evolving into the future home of the CSA Soccer Complex. The Brandywine Hundred State Representatives and Senators obtained funding for the Brandywine School District to demolish the school. The property will be leased from the school district to New Castle County and then leased to CSA. The project will convert the present 10-acre sloped property into a single large open playing area with movable goals. This approach will accomodate flexible use of the space for smaller fields (for ages 8 to 10) or larger fields (for ages 11 to 18). The play area may accommodate 3 large fields or 4 small fields or some combination thereof. This moveable goal approach results in a higher quality playing area. The CSA Soccer Complex will include parking, a building (with equipment garages, club office and a meeting room) a snack bar and indoor plumbing. The total cost for this project is approximately $900,000.

OUR FUTURE: With your help, an Endowment Fund is being established to help preserve and grow the operations of the organization for future generations. This endowment will serve two primary purposes: "Expand our sponsorship program for families in need. "Establish a maintenance fund to assure the CSA Soccer Complex remains in top condition and safe for our children at all times. Our goal is to raise $100,000 for the CSA Endowment Fund in addition to the $900,000 needed for the physical facilities.

OUR EXPECTATIONS: This is an exciting time for the CSA and our community. This Capital and Endowment campaign is the first in our 25-year history. As we embark on this campaign, we are reaching out to you for your generous support. Participating in sports prepares our children to be responsible, contributing, confident adults.
