All games and practices* can be played as scheduled. If games are to be cancelled due to weather it will be posted by 3:30pm - *If fields are playable but the temperature is below normal or it is windy out please check with your coach to see if they are going to hold practice.

2008 Summer LATE recreational registration is OVER you may register to be placed on the waitlist with a $10 late fee

ROCKIES SKILLS CHALLENGE
June 7th, anytime between 9am & noon at Sandstone Ranch. This FREE competition is open all all boys and girls ages 6 -13. Age as of Dec. 31st, 2008. Kids will compete in throwing, hitting & base running. Divsions will be divied by age 6 & 7's - 8 & 9's -10 & 11's - 12 & 13's. Winners advance to a sectional challenge, winners from the sectional advance to State at Coors field during a Rockies game.

2008 LONGMONT SLAM

The SLAM will held May 17th & 18th. This tournament will be a AA and A tournament only.Games will be played at Sandstone Ranch and Clark Centennial Park. If your team is interested in participating click on the Programs tab. This is a USSSA qualifer.
Coaches Meeting will be held on Friday, May 16th at 6:30pm at the Longmont Safety and Justice Building ~ 225 Kimbark St

2007 COMPETITIVE BASEBALL

There were 30 Competitive teams from Longmont this year. Many qualified for the State Tournaments and National Tournaments:
AA 9 yr. old Jaguars Won the State tournament, 2nd in League
AA 12 yr. old Angels 4th place in State, 1st in league
AA 10 yr. old Raptors 3rd in State, 1st in the Liberty Blast, 2nd in the Spring Blast, 2nd in the Longmont SLAM, 1st in league
AAA 10 yr. old Grizzlies - 13th in State, 3rd in the Jeffeco Memorial Day tournament, 1st in the Greeley Breakout, 3rd in the Spring Classic, 3rd in May Day tournament
AAA 9 yr. old Heat - 7th in State Division 1, 1st in the Pennant Race Triple Crown, 1st in the Broomfield Spring Slam, 1st in the Longmont SLAM, 1st in the Triple Crown Baseball BASH, 1st in FT. Collins rookie tournament
AA 11 yr. old Dynamite - 5th in State Tournament, 1st in the Longmont SLAM, 2nd in Greeley AA Showdown
AAA 10 yr.ld Lancers - 1st place in State, 1st place in League, 1st place in Ft. Collins Spring Classic, 1st place in the N. Jeffco Drought Buster, 2nd place in N. CO. Championship. Played in 2 Majors tournaments placed 3rd & 4th. World Series in Steamboat placed 14th. Ranked #2 in Nation in power ranking.
AAA 11 yr. old Longhorns - 1st place triple crown Battle at the Fort, 1st place triple crown May Melee, 1st place USSSA Spring Classic, 1st place Northern Colorado Rookie League, 1st place Northern Colorado Rookie League Tournament,1st place USSSA State Tournament
AA 12 yr. old Phoenix - 3rd place in league, 2nd place in the Longmont Slam, 13th in State & 19th in Power Ranking with the USSSA for Colorado 12 yrs. & under.
